The survey revealed that children belonging to three years of age are given homework at the nurseries. The impact of the situation has produced a great effect on the parents as it resulted in their anxiety of sending their children to the school. It has also become a strong influence on children psychology.
The Surprising Fact
The Netmums survey has revealed that one student among nine of three years age are becoming the victim of homework. The students of the nurseries are assigned with various skill-based tasks to complete. Tasks like making a combination of the seasons; visual tests for recognising numbers finding and identifying letters and even writing their names are being ascribed to a particular student which is affecting the students and their parents in their panic and stress.
The Parents’ Opinion
The survey also revealed a fact regarding the parents’ attitude on the education of their children. It is found that half among 1,654 parents are willing to end their children back to school where almost one-third of them say that they will miss their children.
Three among five mothers are stressed about their children becoming the victim of bullying by the others. More children are likely to cover up their level of intelligence for the fear of ‘brain-shaming.’
it is also found that one-third of the mothers described themselves as under stress. One-fourth of them have revealed that they find it difficult to get up early in the morning for making their children ready for school.
School formalities are an integral part of the duty from the parents’ side. It is discovered by the survey that the parents normally spend two hours in a week for the administrative activities in the schools for their children,. These tasks may include form fill-up; helping in the other school events etc.
An estimated 29% of the mothers have found it difficult to make their children get up in the morning to make their children ready for the school or washing and preparing the sports-kit to make it presentable to the school. Even making costumes have proved to be one of the most disliked activities to the mothers.
Even half of the parents are tensed about their children making friends. An estimated 23% of them have stated that they fret about the pressure of the playground on their child to their own gadgets.
Let’s Adhere To The Proper
It is always better if children are educated in the normal and natural way. The increasing pace of the advancement of a child may cause too much pressure on him/ her and effectiveness cannot be brought following this way. It not only affects the child but creates the anxiety of the parents. A complete imbalance is expected, following this way. The educational system can only change this as what is happening as children are to be taught properly and not unnaturally pressurised.
